Help Us Imagine the Future of 500 South and 600 South

As part of the Grand Boulevards Vision Plan, the design team has assembled a toolkit of potential enhancements—ranging from public art and gathering spaces to green infrastructure, bike improvements, and street safety features.

Now we want to hear from you.

In this short visual survey, you’ll explore a variety of ideas and design elements. For each portion of 500 South and 600 South, you’ll be asked to select your top priorities—what kinds of improvements feel most appropriate where.

Your input will help us shape a corridor that reflects the values, identity, and needs of Salt Lake City—zone by zone, block by block.

Let’s design streets that work beautifully for everyone.

The Grand Boulevards Visioning Toolkit includes elements for six categories:
  1. Enhanced Bike Facilities
  2. Traffic Calming Features
  3. On-Street Parking Enhancements
  4. Urban Ecology and Green Infrastructure
  5. Public Life and Community Gathering
  6. Community Identity and Public Art
Scroll through to see the elements for each category, and then you will be asked what elements you would like to see added to different sections of the project area.
