Welcome - York Regional Forest Visitor Experience

York Region is fortunate to have 24 natural areas (known as ‘forest tracts’ – 22 of which are currently open to the public) that contain more than 150 kilometres of trails for public use. Tracts are used for dog walking, hiking, nature appreciation, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and more.
