The Northern Ireland Executive is developing a new 10-year mental health strategy. They have published a draft version so that members of the public, charities, and other organisations can provide feedback. This is an important opportunity to help shape Health and Social Care services in Northern Ireland, and your voice is important. Beat will be submitting a response to the consultation, and we would love to include feedback from people who have/have had an eating disorder, as well as families and other carers.

This anonymous survey should take at least 30 minutes to complete. As an alternative, we have created a much shorter survey that will enable you to provide feedback in around 10-15 minutes. These surveys will be open until Thursday 18 March 2021.

The full draft Mental Health Strategy and consultation documents can be found here - https://www.health-ni.gov.uk/mentalhealthstrategy.

Data protection
Anonymised results will be used to help Beat respond to the Northern Ireland Executive's consultation on its draft mental health strategy. Beat may also make use of the anonymised data in other opportunities to campaign for improved access to evidence-based treatment and support in Northern Ireland. Direct quotes may be used anonymously as part of our response to the consultation, however, no identifiable information will be disclosed. If you would prefer for us not to use direct quotes, then there is an opportunity to opt-out of this when completing the survey. Beat's Privacy statement explains how we ensure that any personal data we obtain is stored and processed fairly and lawfully.
