Thank you very much for your interest in Take Our Kids to Work Day with the NWT Health and Social Services System!
This amazing opportunity is intended for grade 9 students and classrooms from across the Northwest Territories. Space permitting, we will support students in other grades as well.
- Students in Yellowknife can attend a full-day, in-person session from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Stanton Territorial Hospital. The session will include presentations, a hospital tour, and participation in 2 job shadowing opportunities.
- Lunch and refreshments will be provided to participating students.
- Students in Hay River can participate in a full-day, in-person session at the Hay River Regional Health Centre.
- All other NWT students can participate in a virtual event scheduled for 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
In-person sessions have limited availability. Once all in-person spaces have been filled, additional applicants can be enrolled in the virtual session.
Please fill out the following registration information for your student or class. If you are applying for more than one student, but not a full classroom, please complete a new application for each student.
After we receive and review your registration information, you will receive a registration confirmation email.
Please note: The confirmation email will include a Placement Agreement, which must be completed, signed, and returned by November 2, 2026. Please allow sufficient time to complete and return these documents.
