The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare (the Commission) is conducting national consultations to scope the requirements for a national health and human research platform to be called the National One-Stop-Shop. The new platform will provide a national research workflow system, inclusive of ethics and local site approvals, and will include functionality to enable research registration, as well as notification to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

The One-Stop-Shop project is a once in a generation opportunity to develop a technologically advanced platform to transform the conduct of all health and human research in Australia in a way that harnesses collaborative strengths to maximise resources and minimise duplication in all aspects of the sector.

You can find more information about the consultation processes on the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare website.
