Introduction

We’re asking people across Portsmouth about how they use parks, the seafront and other outdoor places.

This survey is part of Nature Positive Portsmouth – a partnership project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund through the Nature Towns & Cities programme.

Nature Positive Portsmouth brings together organisations across the city to better understand and support our outdoor spaces.

We want to understand how people use these spaces, how often they visit, and what might stop them using them more. This is not about rating individual spaces or suggesting specific changes. Instead, your answers will help us build a clearer picture of how outdoor places are used across Portsmouth.

The results will be used to support future planning, including a city-wide green infrastructure strategy and how we prioritise future investment.

Whether you use outdoor places regularly, occasionally or not at all, your views are really important.
