Introduction
You (or your child) are being invited to join a research study. The California Department of Public Health wants to hear from young people ages 13 to 26 in California about their experiences with social media.
For individuals under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must consent to their child taking the screening survey and participating in a focus group. The focus group discussion will be approximately 90 minutes online. In these discussions, we will talk about important topics like how social media affects young people (positively and negatively) and how to support well-being in these online spaces.
Your (or your child’s) opinions are greatly valued! People who join a focus group discussion will get a stipend of $125. If you are interested in being a part of this discussion, please take this short survey.
