Thank you for your interest in becoming an Admin Support Volunteer with ParentsNext.

The role of the ParentsNext Admin Support Volunteer is to provide administrative support to the ParentsNext team. This will include a range of tasks to ensure that the participants of the program are being supported and service delivery is maintained.

As part of their role, the ParentsNext Admin Support Volunteer will be involved in:

  • Answering phones
  • Welcoming visitors to the Beenleigh Family Centre
  • Organising appointments for participants
  • Entering data into various online systems
  • Assisting with preparing correspondence, including letters and flyers
  • Helping to prepare and maintain spreadsheets
  • Undertaking other duties as required.
Volunteer hours are available Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday - 9am to 1pm.

All our volunteers follow a COVID-19 safe work plan and provide proof that they have received their COVID-19 vaccinations before being registered.

Volunteers must have a current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and a Working with Children Blue Card before commencement. This can be applied for through Wesley Mission Queensland at no cost to you.

Situated at the Beenleigh Family Centre, ParentsNext is a support service for parents with children under six years old who receive the Parenting Payment, helping parents to plan and prepare for future study or employment.
