Welcome to this survey on workforce data privacy and ethics issues

People Analytics drives the ultimate mandate of the HR function: ‘Informing workforce-related decision making to improve business performance’.

Because of this, there is no doubt, we will continue to see an advancement of people analytics in companies around the globe over the coming years; and with it a demand for skills, knowledge and tools to equip HR professionals to be better analytics practitioners. This is why The People Analytics Program is launched -- to help organizations build their people analytics functions.

Owned by Al Adamsen and Jonathan Ferrar, The People Analytics Program is proud to enlist TI-People as its operational and survey partner, to deliver this and future activities.

This survey is the first global research study of The People Analytics Program. Following feedback from analytics experts and recommended by David Green, this survey is focused on the topic of workforce-related data ethics and privacy. What it is? How it impacts the discipline and practice of people analytics? And what global organizations can do to manage workforce data effectively and in compliance with regulations and laws around the globe.

Of course, your candid and thoughtful responses will be very valuable to this effort. In return for filling in the survey you will receive benchmarking information on:
  • How organizations capture and utilize employee data
  • Key opportunities and risks inherent in utilizing workforce-related data
  • People analytics expert views of future development of workforce data capture and usage
The survey will take between 10-15 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey you'll find space to offer ideas on this study and future studies. If you'd like to discuss data analytics topics, request broader participation of your workforce, or have recommendations, please do contact us at research@ti-people.com. In exchange for your participation, you will receive a detailed result summary starting May 24, 2017.

We thank you in advance for participating in this study.
