Introduction

The National Physiotherapy Advisory Group (NPAG), in collaboration with CAMPROF Canada Inc., is planning a consultation and engagement process to inform the update of the Competency Profile for Physiotherapists in Canada.

The consultation process is designed to gather diverse perspectives from interest holders across physiotherapy practice, education, regulation, accreditation, and related health system environments.
  • The consultation process will be conducted through virtual engagement activities.
  • Participants will be selected to support representativeness of regions, practice settings, professional roles, lived experiences, and linguistic and cultural perspectives.
  • Findings will be synthesized and reported in aggregate form to inform the recommendations for the update to the competency profile.
