Do you enjoy going on bus trips?

Our Knowles Court Aged Care Community at Sinnamon Park are seeking expressions of interest from people who would like to be involved with assisting residents on their weekly bus trips and keeping them company while travelling.   

Outings Assistants help us with:

·         Assisting residents on and off the bus.
·         Making sure residents are safe while on the bus (wearing seat belts etc.).
·         Including residents in activities that occur on the bus or outing.
·         Ensuring positive interactions with residents so they can maintain an enriched lifestyle.
·         Assisting with the serving of refreshments.
·         Reporting any feedback through to the workplace supervisor.
·         Enjoying a fun filled day!

Please note: No personal care work is involved in this role.

Volunteers are currently required on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon between the hours of 1pm until 3.30pm.

Knowles Court is located within the Sinnamon Village community where the residents enjoy a wonderful sense of community and friendship.

Please note that it is now federal legislation that all residential aged care volunteers can show proof that they have received an annual Influenza vaccination (seasonal) and current first Covid vaccination. You will be required to show proof of your vaccination prior to commencement.
