The Mehlville School District is considering placing a proposal on the November 2025 or April 2026 ballot. The proposal would not increase the current tax rate. If approved, the measure would generate an estimated $1.4 million annually for ongoing school maintenance needs by making a temporary tax levy permanent and transferring a portion of the district’s existing debt service levy to the operating levy.
