As part of the Schoharie Gateway Area Plan, we want your input on the future look and feel of our community. Following the 2025 Schoharie Comprehensive Plan, the Town is considering design-based code regulations to guide new development in the area near I-88, Exit 23.
Unlike traditional zoning which focuses on what goes inside a building, design-based code prioritizes how things look from the outside, emphasizing high-quality design, building scale, and beautiful landscaping.
