The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) is now soliciting proposals for our series of standalone in-person Courses, held annually in the Fall.

The Society recognizes the need for practitioners to keep abreast of the ever-growing changes in maternal-fetal care, no matter what stage in their career. SMFM offers engaging, in-person meetings annually to support practitioners' professional development journey.
SMFM members, partners, and others interested in maternal-fetal medicine, attend the society's in-person events to better understand emerging standards and current research, foster skill development, and maintain the highest level of competence so that every patient receives optimal and equitable support.

SMFM COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY: As an organization representative of all maternal-fetal medicine specialists, the SMFM strives to encourage an atmosphere of inclusion. The Board of Directors is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in all its forms including gender, race, religion, socioeconomic status, disability, geographic location, practice type, sexual orientation, age, and culture within our membership and especially in our leadership. It is the board's goal to establishing programs that support these goals in an effort to build a culture that will attract the best and brightest physicians to our specialty, increase the research being conducted by a diverse population of researchers, foster the best educational exchange, and enhance patient care.

Note, the Board of Directors and/or Education Committee may suggest modifications to all portions of this proposal, including the proposed faculty in order to adhere to the Society's Commitment to Diversity Policy and ACCME's Standards of Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education.

All proposals must be received by Friday, November 10. Submitters will be notified of the status of their submission on Friday, December 22.
