1. Background Explanation

Investigating Current Research into Intellectual Disabilities in NSW (2016).

The NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation, Intellectual Disabilty (ACI ID) Health Network, is co-chaired by Mrs Maria Heaton and Professor Les White. It aims to improve the health of people with intellectual disability.
The ACI ID Network Research and Development subcommittee, co-chaired by Dr Seeta Durvasula, has assisted in the development of this survey and will assist in its analysis.

The results of this survey will provide professional groups involved with Intellectual Disability issues, a means of keeping informed about research activity in the area.

There are two sections:

The first section asks for general workplace information.

The second section asks about you and your current research activity.
We seek to understand what is happening in research in Intellectual Disability in NSW, to update the  comprehensive catalogue of Intellectual Disability research activities first published in 2013.
Your permission is requested to place your research information, or a link to it, on the ACI website (http://www.aci.health.nsw.gov.au), in an effort to promote professional collaboration.

The survey will need to be completed by 23 Dec 2016.

The 12 questions will take about 10 minutes to complete.

At the end of the survey, please ensure that you click DONE to save your information.

We thank you for working with NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation Intellectual Disability Health Network on this survey and would welcome your interest and involvement in our Network (www.aci.health.nsw.gov.au).
