The 2026 State of Grantseeking™ Survey, conducted by GrantStation, collects insights from nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, grant professionals, managers, writers, and government entities. The survey provides a comprehensive snapshot of current grantseeking practices in the United States and abroad.
By participating, you contribute to a shared body of knowledge that helps the grantseeking community identify key trends and establish benchmarks. These benchmarks allow organizations to compare their grantseeking activity with peers of similar size, mission, and structure. Survey findings are shared through free reports and webinars designed to help organizations strengthen and refine their grantseeking strategies.
To complete the survey, you will need access to your organization’s grantseeking data from January through December 2025, including information on applications submitted, awards received, award amounts, and funding sources.
All responses are anonymous. GrantStation does not report any personally identifiable information.
