Welcome to the Sobeys Inc. & Empire Scholarship Program.

At Sobeys, we recognize the cost of post-secondary education is rising and we would like to support you in funding your education.

Please take a moment to complete this online application form. The application is accessible on desktop, laptop computers, tablets and smartphones.

The Sobeys Inc. & Empire Scholarship Program is open to all employees who currently work at any corporate location or are employed by a franchise or affiliate, and meet the following criteria:

• Have worked without breaks in service for a minimum of six (6) months or 500 hours as of April 30th each year.

• Have obtained, or are in the process of obtaining, a high school diploma, or are registered as a full-time student at a Canadian college/university with an academic achievement of 70% or above in their last semester

Applications will be accepted from March 22nd to May 30th.

There are four sections to this application form:

1. General Information
2. Employment Information
3. Education Information
4. All About You (Career Goals, Volunteer Experience, Extra-Curricular Activities, Company Values)

This application form should take around 45 minutes to complete, and requires you to upload two electronic files:

A copy of your transcript from the most recent completed semester (high school or college/university)
A copy of your letter confirming acceptance/enrollment from a post-secondary institution for the upcoming school year

Please ensure that you have all required information and documents ready before beginning the application form. Applications with incomplete information will not be considered.
