Supported Housing in Portsmouth survey |
Introduction
Supported housing provides people with a home alongside support, care or supervision to help them live as independently as possible. This could include sheltered housing for older people or people with additional needs, housing for homeless people, or care and nursing homes.
Portsmouth City Council is developing a new Supported Housing Strategy and wants to understand what supported housing is needed now and in the future.
We want to hear from you if you live or have lived in a type of supported housing, have a family member who does, or if you have any other interest in supported housing in the city. Your views will help us understand:
- What is working well
- What challenges people face
- Where there are gaps in support or services
- What improvements are needed
- Future supported housing needs in Portsmouth
Your feedback will help shape the future of supported housing in the city and make sure services meet local needs.
There are no right or wrong answers. All responses will be treated confidentially and reported anonymously.
This survey is open until 11pm on Sunday 9 August 2026.
