NT subject matter experts, share your perspective on skills and knowledge required for child protect

The Community Sector plays a vital role in creating social wellbeing for all Territorians and in building safe and healthy communities. 

The Workforce Survey conducted in 2007 and 2012 by the Northern Territory Council of Social Service (NTCOSS) recognised the NT Community Sector to be highly qualified and are accessing higher education or vocational and educational training (VET). 

The VET qualification being utilised by the sector include eight qualifications, of which are under review and will be available for comment until Friday 11 June 2021:
  - Certificate IV & Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention
  - Certificate IV & Diploma of Youth Work
  - Certificate IV & Diploma of Youth Justice
  - Certificate IV & Diploma of Community Services
  - Certificate IV & Diploma of Community Development
