Introduction

The Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) is conducting this survey focused on the practice of telemental health (TMH) services. TMH is defined as the process of providing mental and behavioral health services remotely, typically utilizing video conferencing; telephone; or text-based messaging, including email, chat, and texts. The information collected in this survey will be used in examination development.

CCE is offering this survey to individuals in many mental health fields. You have been invited to participate because you have been identified as an individual who may be offering TMH services. As you complete this survey, please remember that the goal is to better understand TMH, not your specific profession or field. For example, if you are a social worker, please focus on the tasks and knowledge that pertain to offering social work services through phone, email, chat, etc. and not on the specific tasks or knowledge of a social worker.

Your participation in this survey is voluntary, and you may choose not to participate. The survey should take 15–30 minutes and can be completed in multiple sessions, if needed. To re-access and resume the survey, simply click the same link provided in your invitation email.

We appreciate your time and value your contribution. Your answers will provide important data for examination development and make a difference for practitioners throughout the TMH field.

All survey responses will be kept confidential, and only aggregated data from the survey will be published.

If you have any questions about this survey, feel free to contact us at examdevelopment@nbcc.org.

Thank you for your participation!
