COVID-19 is continuing to devastate economies, health and wellbeing worldwide. Wildfires are ravaging the west coast. Political divides are increasing. The spotlight on inequities faced by Black, Indigenous and people of color has sparked an overdue global movement against racial injustice. These are challenging times and Oregon is no exception. It is in this unprecedented moment that Travel Oregon and the state’s seven Regional Destination Management Organizations are evaluating how best to support a strong, resilient and racially and socially just Oregon tourism economy.

To do this, we need your help. We want to hear directly from Oregon’s tourism industry professionals, employees, and stakeholders on what you are currently experiencing and what you need as it pertains to the development and resiliency of our shared tourism economy. We encourage anyone that interacts with the tourism industry — business owners, staff, destination management and marketing organizations, public land managers, policymakers, organizational partners, tribal representatives, and others — to complete this survey.

Survey data will be a key source of input for Travel Oregon and Regional Destination Management Organizations in setting strategic directions and making funding and programmatic decisions in marketing, grants, tourism-related infrastructure, visitor management, and more. Additionally, results from the survey will be available to all Oregon tourism entities; however, individual responses will remain confidential and anonymous.

We anticipate the survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please make sure before you begin that you have ample time to complete it from start to finish. We ask that all surveys be completed by October 30, 2020.

Thank you for your time and participation,
The Travel Oregon Team
