ESE Survey: Educational Needs and Priorities in Obesity Management

The European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) has a mission to advance endocrine care across geographical Europe and the globe. With the advent of new hormone-based therapies for the management of obesity, ESE has identified a need to expand the knowledge and cover educational gaps, as well as to build awareness around the management of people living with obesity.

As an endocrine disease, obesity and its co-morbidities (type 2 diabetes, hypertension, polycystic ovary syndrome, etc.) are often managed by endocrinologists; it is extremely important to provide education for this audience and our members.

In order to enhance our understanding of the current clinical experience and perceptions in the field, as well as to find out more about the educational priorities and knowledge gaps, ESE has created this survey.

This survey aims to gain feedback from a wide range of clinicians and other healthcare professionals regarding the key educational areas and priorities to be explored. The results will help us prioritise ESE's key educational objectives in this area in the future.

This survey should take 5-7 minutes to complete and is open to responses until 30 October 2025.

The shape and the success of new ESE educational endeavours depend very much on you, and we thank you in advance for your answers!
