Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library
The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library (TRPL) is a new institution that will honor the life and legacy of the 26th President of the United States. The concept of the living library and museum builds upon four core values that characterize Theodore Roosevelt – especially with regard to his experiences in the Badlands of North Dakota: Dare Greatly; Think Boldly; Care Deeply; and Live Passionately. The Library is envisioned as a place of continuous innovation; its cutting-edge design will evolve and inspire for many generations to come. Every aspect of the space – from the architecture to the visitor's journey and beyond – will reflect this spirit.
Theodore Roosevelt developed a strong relationship with the Badlands area in his lifetime. Thus it is only fitting that the Library will be located in Medora, North Dakota, at the edge of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The site will include an outdoor experience as well as a complex of buildings housing permanent and temporary exhibitions, a restaurant/café, public event and education spaces, and a museum store. Construction is expected to begin in early 2023, and the opening is planned for the middle of 2025.
The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation – overseeing the development of the TRPL – would like to invite you to help shape the future TRPL experience by participating in this online survey. Your input is much appreciated and will enable us to further refine the vision for the project. All responses are anonymous and confidential.
As a thank you for your time, survey participants can opt into a drawing to receive a $250 Amazon gift card. Please leave your contact email at the end of this questionnaire if you’d like to enter the prize draw.
