The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), the trucking industry’s not-for-profit research organization, is currently undertaking research on how the trucking industry uses telematics data. This research seeks to assess emerging capabilities and uses of telematics in the trucking industry, and to help motor carriers get the most out of their telematics. The result of this research will be a best practices guide for using telematics data points to improve operational performance. This research was identified by ATRI’s Research Advisory Committee (RAC) as a top priority.

All collected data will be kept completely confidential. The final published report will only be presented in an aggregated, non-identifying format.
