Trans Canada Trail is conducting a national research study to better understand the current state of trails across the country, including how people use trails, what helps or gets in the way of access, and how trails are experienced in different communities.

This short survey asks about your experiences using trails. Your responses will help build a clearer picture of how trails support recreation, mobility, wellbeing, and community life across Canada. Your input will help inform national research on the trail sector and how trails can better serve communities across Canada.

The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and your responses will be anonymous. You may skip any question or stop at any time.

If you would like to learn more about the study, including how your information will be used and your rights as a participant, please review the full informed consent form here.

By continuing to the survey, you indicate that you have read the information provided and agree to participate.

Thank you for sharing your experience!

This research study has been reviewed and approved by the Veritas Independent Review Board (IRB), an independent committee that reviews research involving human participants to help ensure their rights and wellbeing are protected.
