Cambridge Focus, a research recruiting company, is working with Emergo by UL, a research consulting team that helps companies develop new products, to conduct an evaluation of a new injection device that is being developed to treat hepatitis. This research is not invasive and this is not a clinical study. Participants will not take any medications or inject themselves at any time in the study. Instead, participants will read product instructions, do an injection into a practice cushion, and answer questions about using the new product in development. You may have heard about this study through the Hepatitis B Foundation, which is supporting outreach for this effort.
Qualified participants will attend a single, 1.5 hour session in-person at a research facility to meet with 2 researchers. The study will be conducted in several US cities this coming November, December, and January. The final locations will be selected based on the responses to this survey and the number of people interested in different locations.
Participants will be paid $350 as a thank you for their time and input. Reimbursement for travel expenses may be available, depending on travel time and distance. Qualified participants who are not near the session locations may have the opportunity to travel to one of the study sites with all expenses paid back to them.
