Transport Canada is working to reduce the impacts of underwater noise on the Southern Resident Killer Whales and other marine life. This survey, undertaken by Vard Marine on behalf of Transport Canada, aims to develop an understanding of the prevalence of underwater noise in the Salish Sea, produced by acoustic/echolocation devices such as echosounders and fish finders.

Your responses will be kept completely anonymous and confidential, but if you want to receive additional information on this topic and on the progress of the work, please include your email address at the end of the survey.
