Wesley Mission Queensland’s Fulton Wellbeing Centre is looking for a volunteer to assist at the front reception with organising appointments, general administration duties and to provide a warm and friendly welcoming face to those attending the centre.

With support from paid staff, the Administration Volunteer will assist with tasks such as:
  • Greeting clients at reception
  • Using a tablet to alert clinicians that a client has arrived
  • Making confirmation calls and SMS
  • Cleaning of exercise equipment and reception area
  • Providing support to our clinicians
  • Other general administrative duties
  • Following a COVID-19 safe work plan.

Our Fulton Wellbeing Centre is a modern, welcoming centre providing a wide range of allied health and wellbeing services for clients over the age of 18 years.  Services include dietetics, exercise physiology, group exercise, hydrotherapy for children with complex physical needs, nursing, occupational therapy, personal training, physiotherapy, podiatry, remedial massage, social work, and speech pathology.

The Fulton Wellbeing Centre is situated directly across the road from the Jindalee HomeCo shopping area, there are cafes on site, and free onsite parking is available.

Hours are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  

Due to the nature of the role, a smart casual presentation is required for the position.

  • All our volunteers follow a COVID-19 safe work plan and provide proof they have received two primary COVID-19 vaccinations before they are registered in their role.
  • Volunteers will be required to have a current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance check or Federal Police Check (no older than three months) prior to commencement. This can be applied for through Wesley Mission Queensland at no cost to you.
