Glassworks will be the new space for makers, providing access to studio space, specialist glassmaking equipment, teaching facilities, and a creative community. Building on Sunderland’s strong glass-making history, its reputation for arts, design and making, we are exploring how Glassworks can best meet the needs of makers locally, regionally and nationally.

This survey is being carried out on behalf of Glassworks by MMC Research. We are keen to hear directly from makers to help shape our plans and ensure Glassworks reflects the needs of the maker community.
