* 1. We’re conducting an online-only study aimed at capturing your reactions, thoughts, opinions, and the like as you work with various AI chat agents to discuss various health related topics. We’re looking for participants 18+ with diverse health backgrounds and goals to contribute to the study. This study involves using your computer with a keyboard to join a web call with a study team proctor. Your proctor will guide you in typing out chat responses with multiple chat agents about various topics related to health. The study involves capturing your natural interactions with the AI agents and also collecting feedback from you about your experience with them– with a goal of working towards improving these tools. Audio and chat transcripts only will be collected– you will not be required to have your video camera on for the session and video will not be captured.

Qualified participants will be asked to participate in groups of 1-3 individuals for 1.5hour sessions. You will not be asked to share health or tool insights or feedback in front of other participants. Your chat boxes with the AI agents themselves will be private to the study team and you, and not visible to the other participants in your call. The proctor will be available on the audio call should you require any assistance with how to proceed with the study protocol or any questions arise.

As a thank you for your time, each participant will receive an incentive of $100 per individual upon completion of the study. Sessions will be held online only on March 19th, 20th, and the following week March 23rd thru 27th. The times available will be 9:30AM PST, 1:00PM PST, and 3:00PM PST. Each session lasts up to 1.5 hours and is conducted by our professional moderating team.

To ensure both your privacy and the study’s data protection requirements, we will ask that no private data health or otherwise should be shared in the group audio call itself (outside of your AI chat boxes) and should you ask for any technical assistance there, you should be sure not to share anything private, sensitive, or offensive in the group call.

The study is entirely voluntary and you can choose to withdraw at any time. Equally, you might be disqualified or asked to leave if the answers and information you’ve provided during the screening/qualification process do not match expectations on the day of data collection. We value your time and that of our research team so we kindly ask that only fully qualified and engaged participants take part in our studies. Please note that the full compensation amount will only be provided to those who successfully complete the study on their scheduled day. If a participant chooses to stop their participation early, they may receive a prorated amount of compensation.
