Seeking volunteers to support survey data collection on food insecurity
Who's Hungry Survey Volunteer Role
The Daily Bread Food Bank is recruiting survey volunteers to support the 36th annual Who’s Hungry survey with Toronto food bank clients about their experiences with food insecurity. The results of this survey are the foundation of our annual Who’s Hungry report, which is used to advocate for solutions to end hunger and poverty in our city.
Data will be collected March 1 to April 30, at approximately 100 food bank locations across the city—with volunteer shifts based on site hours and your availability. This role is essential as strong data and high response rates provide a clearer picture of food insecurity in Toronto and needed policy change.
Volunteer Duties:
• Attend a two-hour virtual training session (during the week of February 16)
• Read and become familiar with this year’s survey.
• Introduce the survey to clients and the opportunity to participate
