GIBS EDA and Walmart Foundation GrowYourBiz Initiative - 2020 Intake
GIBS has 50 scholarships available for the following groups:
1. Unemployed graduate youth (those 35 years and under with graduate qualification) who want to venture into entrepreneurship and have a good idea of the business they want to start
2. Established women entrepreneurs who have been actively running a business.
This application form is for the Mamelodi, Chatsworth, and Botshabelo programmes.
Criteria for the programme: • Access to a feature / smart phone • Retail shops, spaza shops, restaurants, takeaways, hair and beauty salons, butcheries, general dealers, bakeries, caterers, early childhood development centres (ECD) • Commitment to establish or grow your business
If you meet the above criteria and your application is shortlisted, you will get an opportunity to pitch your business for the #GrowYourBiz programme.
Please note:
No shebeens or tavern businesses will be accepted. No stipends will be offered to attendees. Classroom learning will take place in the above-mentioned locations.
