Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Wesley Mission Queensland.

Everyone should have access to a living environment of their choosing. Our specialist disability accommodation communities offer people over 18 years old living with complex and high support needs the chance to live a normal and dignified life with the support they need to reach their own personal goals.

The model of care provided at each community is focused on the individual to ensure the needs of every resident are met. This creates an environment where residents can enjoy the meaningful, happy lives they deserve!

WesleyCare Wynnum Services are a Specialist Disability Accommodation Community that includes Asher House, WesleyCare Sibley Road and Wynnum Apartments. Each home strives to make a difference in the lives of adults living with complex and high support needs.

Our volunteer roles are suitable for people who have well-developed interpersonal skills and a caring and empathetic manner. It’s a great way to make a difference in the lives of adults with complex and high support needs while making friends, having fun, and learning new skills.

Our services are welcoming and rewarding places to volunteer where you will meet many wonderful people from various backgrounds and learn great new skills that may assist you both personally and professionally. There are lots of other benefits to volunteering with us as well, such as:

Once you have read these documents and watched the orientation video and you are confident you would like to become a volunteer, please complete this quick online registration. Once we receive your registration a Wesley Mission Queensland representative will be in contact with you to discuss the role further.

  • Volunteers must have a current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance before commencement. You can apply for this through Wesley Mission Queensland at no cost to you.
