Thank you for completing the What Board Members Think Association Community Survey presented by Foresight First LLC. Your survey response will help the association community deepen its understanding of the perspectives that directors/officers bring to their association board service.

Before you begin the survey, please review the important notes below:
IMPORTANT NOTES
•Please do not use AI in the creation of your answers. The association community needs to know what you think about your board service without AI. (You will be asked to confirm your cooperation with this request on the next page.)
•This survey will take more than 60 minutes to complete. This is a long survey because the vast majority of questions require reflection. By completing the survey, you are making an important contribution to the association community's understanding of board service. Thank you for your cooperation.
•You do not need to complete the survey in one session. As long as you continue to use the same device on which you begin the survey, your previous work will be accessible. (DO NOT USE an incognito or private tab or window to complete the survey.) Once you press "Submit" at the end of the survey, however, you will no longer be able to edit your response. You will have the option to request a copy of your response just before completing the survey.
•Please consider writing your open-ended answers in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or a similar application. Each answer box in the survey allows for a maximum of 2,000 characters, but there is no integrated character counter. Writing your answers in a document will allow you to track of their length before you copy and paste them into the survey platform.
•Your individual survey response will remain anonymous. The What Board Members Think Report, which will be released in the summer of 2026, will share aggregated survey answers and unattributed comments.
