Results will be used to help us compile our annual Emerging Brands Report - one of the most exciting publications of the year. Please submit your response by December 22nd, 2017.

Emerging Brands in the restaurant industry are those that exhibit a strong promise of potential growth in the near future and embrace progressive developments that are innovative and unique. They generate excitement - consumers want to 'discover' them and they feel ownership as the brands grow. Thinking ahead to the upcoming year, what brands will emerge in 2018?

Preference for service style (fast casual, quick serve, fine dining, etc).

Affordability - dining options on a budget - 'Cheap Eats'.

Quality of food and service.

Comfort - familiar, easy, relaxed.

Value for the money - food and atmosphere worth the price tag.

Offers an "experience" - not just a meal. A dining event that is out of the ordinary.

Focused on healthy foods - ie, niche, allergy-aware, nutrition-focused.

Use of technology to market the brand and/or throughout the dining experience (loyalty and pre-order apps, kiosk order/pay, etc).

Gearing offerings and vibe to the millennial customer.

Innovative concepts and uniqueness in overall theme, presentation or flavor profiles (new, unique combinations, ingredients, etc).
