Thank you for your interest in becoming an Admin Support Volunteer with YHES House.

The role of the YHES House Admin Support Volunteer is to provide administrative support to the YHES House team. This would include a range of administrative tasks to ensure that the clients of the program are being supported and service delivery is maintained.

As part of their role the YHES House Admin Support Volunteer will be involved in:

  • Welcoming visitors to YHES House
  • Answering phones
  • Entering data
  • Filing documents
  • Organising meetings and taking minutes
  • Assist with preparing correspondence including letters and flyers
  • Maintaining up to date social media posts
  • Other tasks as required.
Volunteer hours are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday – mornings, afternoons or a full day.

All our volunteers follow a COVID-19 safe work plan and provide proof they have received their COVID-19 vaccinations before they are registered in their role.

Volunteers will also be required to have a current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and Blue Card Combined check prior to commencement. This can be applied for through Wesley Mission Queensland at no cost to you.
