Do you like gardening and would like to spend some quality time with young adults with complex needs?
We are looking for a person interested in helping with the general maintenance of garden beds including watering, weeding, planting, pruning, and mowing lawns. This will also include developing friendships with the people we support, sharing experiences, and encouraging them to participate. It’s heaps of fun for all involved!
Volunteer times are available between 9am till 1pm, Wednesday and Thursday.
This role is suitable for people who enjoy gardening and have well-developed interpersonal skills and a caring and empathetic manner. It’s a great way to make a difference in the lives of our young adults with complex needs while making friends, having fun, and learning new skills.
