A little about the grocery delivery program!

King County Metro Access is testing a new home delivery program in partnership with INSTACART®, a grocery delivery service. If you’re currently eligible for Access paratransit services, you can apply to receive free delivery for groceries, prescriptions, and pet supplies from stores such as Safeway, Fred Meyer, New Seasons, Costco, Grocery Outlet, Walgreens, CVS, and Petco, as well as other retailers like Target and Home Depot.

Selected participants will receive free unlimited delivery for orders of $35 or more for one year. While the delivery service is free, you will still be responsible for the cost of the groceries, prescriptions, or other items you order.

Participating in this program does not affect your Access eligibility; you will still be able to book rides as usual for any trip purpose.

Orders through INSTACART® can be placed in three ways:

  • Online via the INSTACART® website
  • Through the INSTACART® app on your phone
  • By calling INSTACART® directly by phone

Learn more about INSTACART® delivery in the How Does INSTACART® Work? guide.

Spots are limited to 100 participants, so if you’re interested, please complete the following application by Wednesday, October 1st. If selected, we’ll notify you by email with instructions on how to get started.
