M&A Awards Netherlands | Best Deal 2026

You're now about to nominate a candidate for the M&A Award for Best Deal 2026.

The nomination period for this M&A Award runs from 17 August to 12 October. After the nomination period is closed, a shortlist of 15 contenders is selected from the total list of nominated candidates.

Subsequently, on the 28th of October the Panel of Judges will assess all shortlisted deals and cast their votes to create a top 6 of finalists for the M&A Award Best Deal 2026. The organization will publish the finalists for the M&A Awards 2026 mid-November on MAAwards.nl and MenA.nl, and the online voting by the M&A Community will start.

Please note that only deals that meet the challenging requirements and expectations for this Award will be shortlisted.

Does your nomination meet the criteria for Best Deal 2026?
Deals eligible for the M&A Award Best Deal 2026 have a deal value that exceeds 250 million Euros and are characterized by skilled execution, the complexity of the transaction, innovative funding, a competitive purchase price and/or an excellent strategy behind the transaction.

The deal should demonstrate authentic and effective leadership, including developing a strong, progressive culture and a wider contribution to all stakeholders and society.

Criteria for your endorsement
In this questionnaire, you will be asked to write an endorsement to substantiate the nomination for Best Deal 2026. Your endorsement must be specific and consist of a minimum of 500 words.

The organization will reject all submitted nominations that do not meet these criteria. Only questionnaires received before October 12, 2026 23:59 hours are valid.
