M&A Awards Netherlands | Best Small Cap Deal 2025

You're now about to nominate a candidate for the M&A Award for Best Deal Small Cap 2025.

The nomination period for this M&A Award runs from 18 August to 13 October. After the nomination period is closed, a shortlist of contenders is selected from the total list of nominated candidates.

Subsequently, on the 3rd of November the Panel of Judges will assess all shortlisted deals during the live pitches and cast their votes to create a list of finalists for the M&A Award Best Deal Small Cap 2025. For the involved advisors and entrepreneurs in the nominated deals, it is important to block November 3 from 14:00 - 18:00 hours in their agenda's for the pitch and questions by the Panel of Judges. The timing for the 10-minute pitch will be communicated mid-October. The organization will publish the finalists for the M&A Awards 2025 mid-November on MAAwards.nl and MenA.nl, and the online voting by the M&A Community will start.

Please note that only deals that meet the challenging requirements and expectations for this Award will be shortlisted.

Does your nomination meet the criteria for Best Deal Small Cap 2025?
Deals eligible for the M&A Award Best Deal Small Cap 2025 have a deal value between 5 - 50 Million Euros and are characterized by skilled execution, the complexity of the transaction, innovative funding, a competitive purchase price and/or an excellent strategy behind the transaction. The deal is evidence of great and authentic leadership, including developing a strong, progressive culture and a wider contribution to all stakeholders and society.

Criteria for your endorsement
In this questionnaire, you will be asked to write an endorsement to substantiate the nomination for Best Deal Small Cap 2025. Your endorsement must be specific and consist of a minimum of 500 words. The organization will reject all nominations submitted that do not meet these criteria. Only questionnaires received before 13 October 2025, 23:59 hours are valid.
