The purpose of this study is to query an international group of spine surgeons and gauge the consensus on surgical vs. non-surgical management of fractures in the setting of diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH) and ankylosing spondylitis (AS).
This survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete and contains 3 sections:
A. General Demographics
B. Current Practice
C. 11 Case Presentations
Your participation may benefit others by highlighting the current divide in the management of DISH and AS fractures. This will hopefully spark further research into the subject.
It is planned to publish the findings in scientific research journals or presented at professional conferences.
Your participation is voluntary. Identifying information such as name, email address, or IP address will not be collected. The identity of all survey participants will remain anonymous. Individual information will be kept confidential. By clicking on "Next", you are consenting to participation.
Deadline to respond is May 31, 2025.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to fill out this survey.
