In order to participate, schools/community centers must:
- Register a minimum of 30 families to attend the FAFSA workshop
- Confirm that families bring proper financial documents (a list will be provided)
- Secure a space which has at least 8-10 internet-ready computers to host the workshop
- Provide a guidance counselor or other knowledgeable staff member who can be present for the duration of the event
This one-time workshop can be scheduled for a weekday evening (from 6:00pm - 9:00pm) or Saturday (11:00am - 2:00pm) between mid-November and December. January workshops may be scheduled on a case-by-case basis.
