The future of local government survey

Local government has always been forward thinking, but the need for a strategic vision for its future has never been greater. Financial pressures, increasing demand, rising residents’ expectations, climate change and advances in technology mean councils need to plan now what their organisation should look like in five years’ time.

LGC, in partnership with Hitachi Solutions, is seeking to better understand councils’ visions for their future, the potential of technology to help achieve it, and the extent to which this is a reality.
