The H. Frederic Helmholz, Jr., MD Scholarship is a $2,500 award which includes an additional $750 towards travel expenses and full registration to the AARC International Congress. You must attend the International Congress to receive travel expenses.

To qualify, you must be a student enrolled in a CoARC accredited respiratory therapy program in good standing. Respiratory Care/Therapy must have been your major for at least six (6) months prior to the scholarship deadline.

Submission requirements include a letter of recommendation and an original narrative review of literature related to the practice of respiratory care.  Detailed requirements are located at https://www.lambdabeta.org/scholarships/.
