This survey is initiated by Women in Tech® Cyprus and TechIsland®, and carried out by strategic partner IMR/University of Nicosia™.

It is part of a wider study with the objective to explore the current representation of women professionals in STEM fields in Cyprus, examine the challenges they face, and identify potential policies and initiatives to support them.

This survey is intended for women who are currently working or have previously worked in Cyprus in any of the following STEM fields:

● Computer Science / Information Technology
● Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Electrical)
● Mathematics / Statistics / Data Science / AI
● Life Sciences / Biotech / Medicine
● Physics / Chemistry / Natural Sciences
● Environmental Sciences / Earth Sciences

This includes work in industry, academia, research, education, or applied technical roles within these disciplines.

All data collection adheres to GDPR (EU, 2016/679) and relevant national laws, ensuring strict compliance with SEDEAK and ESOMAR guidelines. Data is used solely for the study's purpose, with robust technical and organizational measures in place to protect personal and sensitive information, in full alignment with GDPR standards since its enforcement on May 25, 2018.
