Are you seeking a quality experiential learning experience with pay? Information Orillia is looking to provide post-secondary students in the community the opportunity to develop leadership and professional skills through a Student Owned Pop-Up Volunteer & Information Centre.
At this on campus pop-up, you will help your peers connect with organizations that align with their career goals, aid in information referral, and be a safe space for any youth facing barriers to purposeful engagement.

Core Duties and Operations:
Matching: Navigate our database to match students with volunteer opportunities based on their availability, interests they’d like to explore, or practical experience they are looking to gain.
Referral: Share helpful information and refer to services and resources in our community.
Monitoring: Administer a quick survey provided by Information Orillia to students who are ready to begin a referred volunteer opportunity, or access a referred service.

What’s in it for you:
We will be transitioning up to 3 volunteer roles into paid Youth Engagement Leaders throughout the school year. This is a great chance to make a difference in your community, while gaining transferable experience from the comfort of your campus.

How To Apply:
Please complete the quick 3 minute survey below. There is no formal deadline as we will be accepting volunteers for the duration of the project, however, paid Youth Engagement Leader positions are given to students based on their length and commitment to the project. We recommend you apply as soon as possible.
