1. Meeting Global Challenges: Global Citizenship

This survey is a part of the NGO-UNESCO Forum on Global Citizenship. The Forum is a platform for the exchange of experiences and innovative approaches on how to meet the challenges of “Global Citizenship”, by bringing together the views of policymakers, experts and civil society actors, especially young people.

Global Citizenship is defined in SDG Target 4.7: "By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a cuture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development.

The aim of this survey is to collect information about projects and best practices associated with Global Citizenship performed by NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO. The results will be presented in the form of a video documentry together with the report including NGO recommendations during the 5th ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) and GCED Forum that will take place from 7-9 September 2021.
