Thank you for your interest in our Time-of-Use Pricing Consultation survey for Horizon Networks.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to do and on completion you can go into the draw to win a Prezzy Card.

Horizon Networks is the Eastern Bay of Plenty Electricity Distribution Business (EDBs) that owns and operates the physical infrastructure (poles and lines) that deliver electricity to your property; they are not your electricity retailer.

From 1 April 2022 Horizon Networks intends to introduce an optional time-of-use (TOU) pricing model. TOU pricing is when the consumer is charged different prices (peak, shoulder and off-peak) based upon the time of day when the power is used.

This change is motivated firstly to lessen peaks in demand so as to reduce the need for costly infrastructure upgrades and, secondly, to better align price charges with true costs of service across all consumers.
