San José Clean Energy EcoHome Rebate Application

Thank you for your interest in our rebate program! To help you complete your application successfully, please review the following important guidelines before you begin.

Please ensure that your application is submitted using the primary PG&E account holder’s information. This helps us process your request accurately and efficiently. We do not have access to authorized or secondary user information.

If your installation has already started, you must email SJCEPrograms@smud.org to be considered eligible for our emergency installation exception. Proof of exception is required to be submitted with your application.

Documentation Requirements:
To help us process your rebate application smoothly, please include the following photos when applicable:

For the Heat Pump HVAC rebate: a clear photo of your existing gas furnace.

For the Heat Pump Water Heater rebate: a clear photo of your current gas water heater.

For the Electric Service Panel Upgrade rebate: a photo of your existing electrical panel that clearly shows it is rated less than 200 amps.

For the Attic Insulation rebate: a photo that shows your current insulation levels.

Please note that for the Battery Storage, Prewiring Circuits, and Circuit Splitter/Pauser Device rebates, no photos are required with your application.

Including the correct photos will help us verify your eligibility quickly and ensure your rebate is processed without delay. Thank you for your attention to these details!
