This survey, initiated by the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE), in collaboration with the National Endocrine Societies that are part of the ESE Council of Affiliated Societies (ECAS), aims to be a ‘fitness test’ for the clinical and the research dimension of endocrinology.
The outcomes of the survey will help us to develop recommendations about how our discipline can cope with the clinical and research demands of the future. These recommendations will serve our advocacy efforts towards health care decision makers, primarily National but also European where possible.
The survey is structured around different sections that relate to different roles within clinical endocrinology and endocrine science. We estimate that the survey will take on average 20 minutes to complete, but this will depend on your professional profile. Based on your profile, different sections of the survey will be made available. You can decide to save part-way through and return later to finish the survey, but in this case you need to do so from the same device.
All information entered in the survey will be anonymous. The data will only be used in aggregated form to develop an informed report and publication describing the ‘State of Endocrinology’ and recommendations for the future.
